Wolfe's Neck Farm offers local, all-natural, sustainably-grown foods available for pick-up in Freeport, Maine.  Our animals are free-range, raised humanely on lush oceanfront pasture free from synthetic fertilizers and pesticides. We supplement their diet with grain containing no added hormones or antibiotics. 

Pasture-Raised Lamb
Try delicious new recipes and return to trusted old favorites.  We raise North Country Cheviot - Suffolk sheep.  They are hardy animals that produce excellent wool and meat.  We maintain a small breeding flock and have a limited supply available for an early spring pickup. 

Lamb is sold frozen as half and whole animals at $6.50/lb.  Halves are typically 20-30lbs (hanging weight), and cost approximately $150 total.  Whole lambs typically weigh 40 – 60lbs, and cost approximately $300.

Free-Range Thanksgiving Turkeys
Ready to host the best Thanksgiving feast around?  You don't have to look far to find your centerpiece: a fresh (not frozen) local turkey from Wolfe's Neck Farm. 

We pasture-raise Bronze Broad Breasted turkeys.  These birds are colorful animals that create an incredible meal.  Broad Breasted turkey costs $4.50/lb.  Our 2012 Thanksgiving Turkeys must be picked up Wednesday, November 21st between 8AM and 6PM, giving you the freshest and tastiest Thanksgiving feast possible.

Beef
We partner with Aldermere Farm and Cold Spring Ranch to pasture Belted Galloways (Oreo Cookie Cows) as well as Black Angus – Hereford cattle.  Beef is available throughout the season as whole, half, quarters, and family packs. Pasture-raised and grass-fed beef available as freezer orders.

Eggs
We keep a small number of laying hens, and offer eggs at $4/dozen during office hours.  If you are interested in purchasing eggs, please stop by the farmhouse (subject to availability).
