Thank you for your interest! Our 2016 Community Garden is full and the application is closed.
Wolfe’s Neck Farm operates a Community Garden here on our land. If your backyard is too small for a garden, plant your crops in our backyard! Community gardening is a great way to grow your own food, interact with other gardeners, and enjoy the natural beauty of Wolfe’s Neck Farm.
Wolfe’s Neck Farm Community Garden Season: From around May 20th (dependent on weather) until October 14th, 2016. The 2016 growing season is a bit shorter than in previous years so that we may plant a cover crop at the end of the growing season in and around the Community Gardens.
Plot Sizes: Small: Between 50 and 100 square feet; Large: Between 150 and 200 square feet
Rates: $40/small plot or $50/large plot. Members receive an additional 25% discount.
How to Apply: Application is now closed for the 2016 season.
New this year! Our community gardeners have the option of participating in a food pantry donation plot that they will communally maintain, and Teen Ag will harvest from and include in their weekly food pantry donations. Wolfe’s Neck Farm will supply plants for the plot.
