Our historic Mallet Barn (built in 1891) provides a unique venue for our annual Harvest Dance, and evening of food, music and fun. Doors will open at 6:00 PM with great local food, live music and a cash bar from Gritty's.
From 6:30 to 7:30 experience Contra Dance fun with Loper, Muise and Rogers - then The Mallett Brothers Band takes the stage!
New to this year's event: local food trucks El Corazon (tacos & burritos) and Love Cupcakes (cupcakes!) will be joining us, along with tasty offerings from Maine Shore Lobster Bakes (clam chowder, corn chowder & fried clams).
The Mallett Brothers Band will be again providing the musical entertainment for the event (starting at 7:30 PM). As Maine's hottest Alt-Country-Rockers, they swept the top categories at the Portland Phoenix's Best Music Awards, winning Best Local Act, Best Live Act, Best Roots Act, and won additional awards for Best Local Album (Low Down) and Best Song (Low Down). Check out their latest music video on their website at mallettbrothersband.com.
So mark the date on your calendar, call your friends, get a babysitter and dust off your cowboy hat...it's going to be a hootenanny of a good time!
