Come Celebrate Spring on the Farm!

This year’s Spring Festival will continue the tradition of great fun and learning for the whole family right here at the Farm. Music, games, demonstrations and learning activities make the Spring Festival unique with its country setting.  There will be opportunities to explore the trails and gardens, interact with the animals, learn about seeds and plants, and try your hand at fiber arts.  Come watch for newborn lambs and get up close to a Belted Galloway cow.  For younger children, there will be craft activities, face painting, a hay pile and tractors to climb, as well as hayrides and live music.  Food will be available for purchase, and Wealdon Farm will be present with a selection of garden seedlings!

Demonstrations:  Fruit Tree Planting & Pruning,  Zero-Waste School Lunches, Vermicomposting, Permaculture Design, Food Preservation (canning) & more!

Activities: Nature Collages, Seed Planting, Scavenger Hunt, Haybale Climbing & More! 

Volunteering: Many hands are needed to create this wonderful event, and we are offering a free family admission in exchange for two-hour volunteer shifts. If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out our Volunteer Interest Form by clicking here. We look forward to seeing you at the Farm!

Admission: $6/person or $20/family; There is a 50% discount for members!
