Garden Talk by Linda Swanson

Garden Talk by Linda Swanson

We would like to give a warm round of thanks to Linda Swanson for her many years of leadership, creativity and energy as Wolfe’s Neck Farm’s Head Gardener. She recruited, organized and inspired a community of gardeners and made our gardens bloom.  She has truly been one of the farm’s great volunteers over the years.

Note from Linda:

“Greetings , Fellow Garden Volunteers ,

This will be my last letter to you as Head Gardener of the Wolfe’s Neck Farm.   I’ve decided to retire after 16 years of working alongside all of you, and I’ve loved every minute of it.  I offer my deepest thanks to the hundreds of you volunteers who have done such a great job in keeping our campus gardens and the outlying gardens looking so well-cared for, neat, healthy, and colorful.  Taken altogether, they have made our Farm look like a very successful enterprise.  Thank you, one and all.

I am still planning to volunteer a lot, so I look forward to seeing you around Burnett Rd. and Mallet Barn very often.

Warmly,  Linda”
