Stay tuned for 2017 JC Program information!
Ages 15 to 18
Weekly from June 20-August 26, 2016
Junior Counselors (JCs) are an invaluable part of Wolfe’s Neck Farm’s Summer Day Camp experience and our educational team. We work with passionate, mature, and responsible young adults (at least 15 y/o) looking to work with children and flex their leadership skills.
Oh, and JCs are some of the coolest kids at camp. They bring fun while working hard as mentors to campers and growing into leaders. JCs spend their time at the farm in many dynamic roles, including helping set up activities, assisting Summer Educators, supporting campers, and being awesome! As a JC, you’ll also learn about sustainable agriculture, help campers with barn chores, and explore what leadership looks like with your JC cohort. You can also fulfill your school’s service requirements and build your resume. Central to growing your awesome-ness, JCs will workshop numerous leadership skills and qualities, including group dynamics, facilitation, integrity, and personal conduct.
