Family Programs

register-online-buttonWe will not be running our Farm Explorers or Farmer for the Morning program on Thursday, April 27th. Please join us on the weekend or the following week!

Check out our NEW program line-up! We hope you will join us for these fun and educational family-friendly activities throughout the seasons. Be sure to check back frequently as more programs and details are added!

Farm Explorers
Come down to the farm and help us explore the fascinating wonders of farming! This is a great chance for our youngest group of farmers (ages 3 and under) to explore the barn. This program will be structured as an exploration of our working farm, making it the perfect venue for a morning play date with friends. Each week we will focus on sensory play. Sensory play is a wonderful base for all learning and understanding. What better way to explore a farm than with hands-on, messy, fun play! Since we are a working farm, we ask that parents remain with their young farmer(s) at all times and that kiddos are dressed appropriately for exploring our open-air barn. Please note this programming is not ideal for older siblings.
Dates: Thursdays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays starting March 30, 2017
Times: 9:00-9:45 AM
Fee: $5 per child (cost includes admission for 2 adults). Each additional adult costs $3.00.
Ages: This is geared for families with toddlers (ages 3 and under) (parent/guardian participation required)

Farmer for the Morning
Pre-K kiddos (ages 4-5) get a chance to see our working farm in action! Each week our program will have a different theme and will include a story, a variety of hands-on crafts and projects, and the opportunity for our young farmers to engage in farm chores. This is a great chance for families to come explore the farm and learn about our livestock! Come join in on the fun of farming! Since we are a working farm, we ask that parents remain with their young farmer(s) at all times and that kiddos are dressed appropriately for our open-air barn. Please note this programming is not ideal for younger siblings and that our activities depend on the season and what is happening at the farm.
Dates: Thursdays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays starting March 30, 2017
Times: 10:00-10:45 AM
Fee: $5 per child (cost includes admission for 2 adults). Each additional adult costs $3.00.
